This year the Junior Landcare Challenge is to grow the biggest watermelon. Hope participated in the pumpkin challenge a couple of years ago and it was fun and a good home school project too. It isn't too demanding, just checking in every so often. The seeds are provided. All you have to do is plant, nurture and enjoy. If anyone is interested, the registration page is here.
